How to draw a polygon?

To draw a polygon, select it from "Plane Geometry" in the "AutoShapes" section of the sidebar and drag it onto the canvas. Additionally, you can:

1) Click on the "Polygon" tool

2) Position the mouse at the desired starting point of the polygon and click to set the first anchor point.

Note: Note: The first segment will not be visible until you click a second anchor point. To redefine the starting point, click the Primary Selection tool 20120525112613323.jpg to cancel the initial anchor point.

3) Continue clicking to define additional anchor points for the drawn polygon.

4) Complete the drawing by doing one of the following:

  • To close the polygon, position the mouse on the first anchor point and click to close the shape.

  • Alternatively, after defining the last anchor point, is defined, click the Primary Selection tool, select the unclosed shape (indicated by a pink outline), and press the spacebar to complete the closure.

To keep the path open, once the last anchor point has been defined, click the Primary Selection tool to exit editing.
